Week of Prayer: Day Two
1What an encouraging start to our week of prayer we had yesterday.
We are looking forward to seeing what God might do in response to the prayers of His people!
Here is some prayer encouragement for today:
Praying the Bible: Pray that God would “give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know him better” and that that “the eyes of our heart may be enlightened in order that we may know the hope to which he has called us, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe” (Ephesians 1:17-19)
We should pray when we are in a praying mood, for it would be wrong to neglect so fair an opportunity. We should pray when we are not in a proper mood, for it would be dangerous to remain in so unhealthy a condition. C H. Spurgeon
