EASTER SERVICES THIS WEEK: GOOD FRIDAY (9:00-9:45am)  and  EASTER SUNDAY (10:00-11:30am)

Joshua Challenge (Men's Night)

Every few months, Covenant Christian School in Belrose hosts evenings especially for men to think about and discuss their particular challenges and responsibilities as husbands and fathers and workers. These gatherings have been given the name 'Joshua Challenge', after Joshua 25:15 ("But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord").

Here is an invitation from the organisers to all the men of the church:

Next Monday November 17, the final Joshua Challenge Men’s event for 2014 is on.

Andy Arthurs will be speaking on marriage: "Kingdom men make better lovers!”

Andy is the minister at the Alliance Church at Frenchs Forest. He is a great communicator – it will be a great night. Here is a blurb from Andy about the topic:

In a world of deadlines and competing priorities, how does Jesus call men to love? What does being a kingdom man bring to your marriage? Kingdom men are lovers through covenant not contract, passion not passivity, responsibility not rule. Discover how love releases your marriage to answer the Kingdom’s call.

It will be well worth coming along. Starts at 7:30pm in the Performing Arts Space at Covenant Christian School. Food, Coffee, Bible Input, Q&A, prayer and brotherhood.

Please pass this onto the blokes from your church, and if you are a bloke, please be encouraged to come along. An RSVP-email would be helpful to Pete: pmuddle@covenant.nsw.edu.au
