It has been sobering to follow all of the coverage in recent weeks of the two Australians who remain set for execution for drug trafficking in Indonesia. The themes of mercy, hope, transgression and the possibility of redemption have been emotionally expressed by so many. These themes are- unsurprisingly- are found all through the Bible, and especially the passage we are currently working through together as a church. This Sunday in our 'Glorious News' series, we will continue to consider Romans 5:12-21, and the two great enemies of our hope: sin and death. Once again- by God's grace- we will see that what Christ has done for all who are in Him, is far greater than what Adam did for all who are in him. There is much to strengthen and encourage in these gloriously hope-filled, Christ exalting words!
